I’ve had lots of couples come to me thinking they may want to do a weekday wedding (um, hello - a lot cheaper!) but they worry that their guests won’t be able to get the time off, won’t have ample travel time, etc! This year I had 2 weekday weddings - a Monday and a Thursday - and in both instances the couples ended up with a higher guest count than they anticipated! Auna & Nick’s Thursday wedding was a stunner and they were joined by all of the friends and family they could have hoped for - at a fraction of the cost!

Since Auna had quite a few girls getting ready with her, they started the day with hair and makeup early in the morning at their hotel! By early afternoon, I was prepping the venue and awaiting the bride & groom’s arrival! As Auna finished getting dressed, Nick enjoyed a pre-wedding shot with his groomsmen in the Manor House Library before the two escaped for their first look!

After their first look and some sweet private vows, the couple and their entourage were lined up and ready for ceremony start! The black circle arch and pops of pampas grass were accented perfectly by the Fall foliage! The two took part in a wine unity ceremony before sealing their union with a kiss!

Guests made their way inside for a leisurely cocktail hour before the beautiful ballroom was revealed! Auna & Nick opted for a sweetheart table in the hopes that they’d steal a few private moments during dinner service! As the evening progressed and the dance floor opened, so did the custom photo booth & outdoor fire pits! No wedding is complete without a dessert display from the heavens & a flower petal sendoff and Auna & Nick had both! Congratulations to the newlyweds - wishing you a long and happy future together!
