Leah & Greg: Barney Ford Museum

Ask any event professional (or native Coloradan) and they'll tell you that one of the states we work with most frequently is Texas! Not sure if it's the chill vibes, mountain backdrops, or adventure opportunities that draw them in, but we love to have destination clients! Leah & Greg decided to make the trip from Dallas to Breckenridge for their 2020 wedding and the experience was one their friends and family won't forget! The photos alone were proof of the amazing decision they made to come to CO, but the festivities themselves were to die for!

Leah & her ladies started the day at a rental property, getting ready together and having fun with photos before making their way to the ceremony site - the Dillon Marina Park Pavilion! While the pavilion itself offered cover for our welcome table and goodies (and a great backup option for inclement weather), Leah & Greg were sold on the views outside of the pavilion! We set up gorgeous wooden benches just outside of the pavilion facing the water, with a simple rug signifying the altar. Leah & Greg opted out of a first look, so you better believe I was looking at Greg's face when we sent Leah down the aisle! The ceremony was officiated by a family friend and followed up by more mountain beauty photos!

While Leah, Greg and crew stayed at the Marina, the rest of the guests and vendors made their way to the Barney Ford Museum for cocktail hour! Mountain Crust served killer apps (and later killer pizzas) hat went perfectly with some mixed drinks and desserts! Before long we made our way under the tent for dinner, just in time for a little bit of Colorado afternoon rain! After a few rounds of pizza, a few toasts, and a quick cake cutting, it was out to the dance floor for first dances! The intermittent rain was almost welcomed at that point because even a dance party of 80 can get a little hot! After an excited bubble send off, Leah & Greg spent the night in Breck before heading back home to Texas a few days later! Huge congrats to these two, I'm so beyond thankful that we could have the celebration we wanted during such uncertain times, and so thankful you picked Colorado and KSW for your festivities!
